This cold-process soap is not fully cured, so it shouldn't be used until the date specified on the package, which will be sometime in mid-May for this batch. Castile means that the only oil used in making the soap is olive oil, so this is a very pure and gentle soap, with no fragrances or colors.

Please expect natural variations in all our products. We are not a factory, we may package something different one time than another because of what we have available. We do our best to produce the highest possible quality products. This does not mean there will never be a lump in the yarn (because I hit a squib while spinning, though I try to get all those out), or a little vegetable matter, or hand written labels if we were out of printer ink, or recycled packaging for shipping. We are sustainably minded and do our best. If you are really dis-satisfied with a product, please let us know and we will do our best to give store credit or replace the item as needed.
