Fiber from our farm and a few local sources
Yarn
All of our yarn is hand-spun or recycled. All fiber producing animals represented in this yarn have natural, healthy lives. Most are pets. None of our handspun fibers are procured from overseas, or from factory farms. We do not bleach any of our yarns and only use products for our animals or the fleeces that are safe for the environment and our family. All our recycled yarns are of unknown original origin, but promote sustainability and reduce global waste and energy consumption. If you have a custom order or idea, contact us and let us know! I am totally willing to create or spin something on demand.
Fiber
If you are a spinner, felter, or other creative type, we do sell our fiber. All of our animals have natural healthy lives, and all of our fibers are sustainably produced, and hand processed by our family. We are not a commercial operation and don't use bleaches, or chemicals to burn out all vegetable matter (so sometimes specks of vegetable matter are in the fiber). There are imperfections and irregularities, but we do our very best, and feel this is what gives hand-crafted goods that rustic charm :)
